Preparing for your CASA Aviation Eye Test

Requirements of your CASA Eye Test

  • Check-In and Documentation
 
    • Bring a valid photo ID and any existing glasses or contact lens prescriptions.

    • You must have your ARN (Aviation Reference Number). We can not book you an appointment without this number.
 
  • Eye Health Evaluation

    • The optometrist checks for any eye diseases or abnormalities that could affect vision, such as glaucoma, cataracts, or retinal issues.

    • You may be required to have your eyes dilated at the appointment.  Please organise to have a driver where possible, and bring sunglasses with you.

    • Please allow up to 45 minutes for this assessment.
